Vahkh

Released: April 28th, 2023

Vahkh is the 7th studio album by Tethys. Keeping informal tradition of previous albums, Vahkh is all titled in the D'ni language, a fictional language in the Myst game series.  Vahkh mean's "Linking". While the game refers to linking books, this album refers to linking ourselves to the fabric of space that surrounds us.  The musical arc is a representation of life, death, and rebirth.

Transparent Gehn

Released: August 27th, 2019

Transparent Gehn is the 4th studio album by Tethys.  This album introduces much more industrial rock than his previous works. As mainly a guitar player, it wasn't until this album he decided to make it one of the primary instruments used. It infuses the harmonious with the chaotic representing the unity and spiritual awakening we are experiencing from so much chaos in the current state of the world.

Transparent Gehn was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tethys in Osnabrück, Germany.
Guest Artists include Tanzy Velayne on vocals for track ten and Adam Mentzer doing a political rant on track three. Album artwork edited by Tethys. Photo credit by his friend, Kory Wagner, depicting himself working in a factory.

Myriad of Questions

Released: March 20, 2020

Myriad of questions is the 5th studio album by Tethys. This is his first all-ambient album as an expansion from his usual work.  The idea was to write a film score prior to writing the film, allowing the music to inspire the imagery rather than have the imagery inspire the music. A short film is in the works of being made and to be released at a future date. This is a mostly dark ambient album utilizing virtual modular and hardware synthesizers.

Myriad of Questions was written and recorded in 2017 in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania. It was put on hold due to relocating to Germany and the realization that writing a new, heavier album before the release of an ambient work would be more fitting. The album was then mixed and mastered in 2020 by Tethys in Eugene, Oregon after his return to the United States.  Album artwork edited by Tethys. Photo credit by his friend, Brittany House.

Ceramic Personality

Released: November 5th, 2017

Ceramic Personality is the 3rd studio album by Tethys.  This album is an account of his own personal dreams, challenges, and growth. This is the first album where Tethys uses handmade instruments in his works.  "Temple," the album's closing track, is the first industrial rock track as well as the first song to feature a guest vocalist, Tiana Lynn. "Temple" is a foreshadowing for a heavier and more industrial rock-based sound to come in the following album, "Transparent Gehn."

Ceramic Personality was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tethys.  Guest artists include recited poetry by Emma Catnip on track five, and Tiana Lynn on track 9. Album art edited by Tethys. Photo credit by his friend, Madalyn J. depicting an old photo of her parents

The Next 5 Minutes Ago

Released: April 2nd, 2017

The Next 5 Minutes Ago is the 2nd studio album by Tethys. This is a visionary album written mostly from experiences with psychedelics.  While entheogens have been a part of almost all of his works, this album is the most reflective of those experiences.  From deep connections beyond the physical, to experiments in textures and vibrations, this album captures his psyche in a more colorful way.

The Next 5 Minutes Ago was written, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Tethys. Album art edited by Tethys. Photo credit from a friend, Ashley Schwebel, depicting an old photo of her father and brother.
